NORTH AURORA, Ill. - A memorial service will be held at the Fairmount Memorial Park Interment chapel in Alliance, Ohio at 10 a.m. Saturday for Alliance native Barbara Leigh Aebi, 70, who died Friday at Provena Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora, Ill.
She was born March 28, 1928, in Alliance to Lawrence and Anna (Davis) Green, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Aebi had worked for Sears for 15 years.
She was a charter member of the North Aurora Garden Club and had portrayed "Mrs. Santa" at the North Aurora Community Center since it opened.
A sister, Alice Mae Brunt, also preceded her in death.
