Ms. Alyssa Raye Nolen was born on July 20, 1981, to the union of Eddie Nolen and Tanya Barnes Nolen in Frankfurt, Germany.

Alyssa received her formal education in the Calhoun County School System and was a graduate of Alexandria High School Class of 1999. She furthered her education in the medical profession when she enrolled at Ayers Technical College earning her Associates Degree in Nursing as an LPN. At the time of her passing, she was employed with The Learning Tree.

Alyssa loved entertaining her family and friends throughout her life. She was very active in the "Durdy Girls" Lady's Motorcycle Club and enjoyed baking and cooking. Alyssa was a devoted mom who loved her two girls with all her heart, Makala and Jariya, but most al all, she was really looking forward to becoming a grandmother to her unborn grandchild. People loved to be around her because it was always a good time.

Alyssa's life journey ended on September 3, 2022, while under the care of Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama.

Alyssa will remain in loving memories by her two daughters Makala Raye Nolen and Jariya McKinley Nolen; parents, Mr. Eddie Nolen and Mrs Tanya Barnes Nolen; sister, Shanelle Reynolds; brother, Shawn Nix; nieces, JaKyiah Nix, Journee Nix, Nymeria Burnett, and Addelyn Burnett; nephews, Keoni Spears, Kemari Reynolds, and KeAndres Reynolds; and a host of other relatives and friends.
