As of 16 January 1815 Timothy and Anna Acuff are shown to have had a total of 85 grandchildren, 68 of those grandchildren still living.
Mystery: Who was the mother of Isaac Acuff who Timothy Acuff named as his grandson when he gifted him 130 acres, the old home place, in early 1807 there in Sullivan County? Isaac Acuff sold that same 130 acres later that same year to his "cousin" Timothy Hamilton.

The names Isaac Acuff and Isaac Acuff Looney were used interchangeable in the Maury County Tax and Deed Records showing they were the same person.
