Christopher R. Benson, 44, a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, died on July 13, 2022 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Mr. Benson was born on May 17, 1978 in Annapolis, MD to James and Sharon Benson. He graduated from North County High School in 1996 and later attended Anne Arundel Community College, Baltimore City Community College, and the Philadelphia Institute of Art. Christopher worked for the Red Cross Component Lab, Wal Mart, and Sprouts. While working for these companies, he also started his own company, Airbrush Concepts Inc., which he operated for 24 years. Outside of work, he had a passion for airbrush painting, sky-diving, raising tropical fish, eating crabs, gardening, and building bonfires with his niece Taylor and nephews, Carter and Cooper. Christopher will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Benson is survived by his maternal grandfather, Charles L. Nale; sister, Pamela Woolf and her husband, Josh; brother, Stephen Benson; niece, Taylor; and nephews, Carter and Cooper.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, July 20 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Severna Park Baptist Church, 506 Benfield Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
