Phillip Curtis Barrier, 72, of Weaverville passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Charles George VA Medical Center, Hospice unit after a long battle with liver cancer.
A veteran, he proudly served in the US Army with the 2nd ACFT Maintenance as an Aircraft Mechanic and repairman. He loved to fly. He loved his Lord and his family. Phillip was a landscaper, painter, and artist among other things.
He was laid to rest in the Veterans Memorial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Wells Funeral home, Candler on March 7, 2023
Phillip is survived by a sister, Caroll Barrier Smith, with several nieces and nephews.
