dies at Waxhaw home
Miss Katherine Elizabeth McCorkle, 54, of Rt 3, Waxhaw, died yesterday at her home. Miss McCorkle was employed with Associated Products Incorporated.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Bonds Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Floyd Wood, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born April 4, 1923 in Union County, she was the daughter of Luke McCorkle and Myrtle Hill McCorkle of Union County.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a brother, John Preston McCorkle of Waxhaw; and a sister, Mrs. Vivian Price of Arlington, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe.
