Jane Jones Morris was born in Tennessee and died at her daughter, Minerva's house, in Calloway County on 7 Feb. 1922. She was the daughter of the Rev. Joshua "Douglas" Jones (b.9 Dec.1810 and d.6 Jan.1894)and Sarah "Sallie" Bizzell Jones(b.in North Carolina 12 July 1811/12 and d. 5 May 1882). Joshua Douglas Jones was a charter memeber of the Palestine Methodist Church. Jane Jones Morris was the second wife of E.A. "Ned" Morris. She was 5 feet 2 inches tall with red hair and blue eyes. He farmed and they lived at Hico, Kentucky. This information was given to me by my greatgrandmother, Vada Rexie Brooks Raymond, Jane Jones granddaughter.
