Laura Larsen was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 11, 1873. Her parents were Andrew Larsen and Anna Hanson. In 1880, they were living at 185 Van Buren, and Laura had a new baby brother, Charles. By 1895, Laura's father must have died, because the household consisted of her mother Annie, 50, Laura, 21, and Charles, 16. On September 28, 1904, Laura married Albert Anderson, who had just been hired by the Minneapolis Police Department. In 1910, Albert and Laura were living at 1824 Fillmore Street NE. Albert said he was 36, and a police officer. Laura said she was 37, and born in Minneapolis. They had a one month old baby girl which was not named. The baby must not have survived, because it is not named in the 1920 census. In 1920, the Andersons were living at 1922 Fillmore NE. Laura died in Minneapolis on October 10, 1926. In 1928, Albert was killed trying to stop a runaway horse when it knocked him down and stepped on him. Both Laura and Albert are buried at Hillside Cemetery in northeast Minneapolis.
