She was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 6, 1915, the daughter of the late Lee and Myrtle Montgomery Ankrom. She graduated from Columbus East High School in 1933. She worked as a print inspector for Ridge Printing in Medina. She also resided in Westerville and Tucson, Arizona before moving here in 1991.
A brother Wayne Ankrom of Pensboro, WV, and three sisters Helen Haynam of Westerville, OH, Ethel Deyo of Mt. Gilead, OH, and Grace Dymek of Millersport, OH survive her.
A husband Andrew Long preceded her in death.
Private family services will be observed.
