Fannie Hogan Wilson, age 89, of Rutherfordton, formerly of Cliffside, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Fannie was born Thursday, June 1, 1933 in Rutherford County to the late Walter H. Hogan and Ruhamah Harvey. She was a graduate of Harris High School, class of 1951 and worked as a seamstress at Doncaster Tanner Co. for twenty-seven years before retirement. Fannie was a loving caregiver to her late husband, Everett and a longtime member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Franklin "Everett" Wilson; sisters, Elizabeth Hames, Flora McGuire, Amy Stevens and Linnie Blackwell; brothers, Reid, Roy, Gene, Harvey, David and William Hogan.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Becky Jolley (Eddie) of Forest City and Joyce Mahaffee (Jim) of Columbus, NC; grandchildren, Brian McQueen (Mandy) and Theresa Soppelsa (Michael); great-grandchildren, Amelia Soppelsa, Promise Henry, Cadence Raby, Levi Mahaffee; a brother-in-law, Winfred Wilson (Jayne) of Rutherfordton and sister-in-law, Faye Wilson of Forest City.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 13th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Terry White officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
