Anna Joyce Eldridge, age 79 of Alpine passed from this life on Thursday evening, March 9, 2023, from her home in Alpine. She was born at home in Alpine, Tennessee on January 28, 1944, to the late Albert and Vetchel Ledbetter Ruble.
A 1962 graduate of Livingston Academy and Christian in faith. Joyce was a true family lady, who loved doing anything she could with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved going to yard sales and flea markets looking for that great deal or amazing find.
Joyce leaves behind her sons: Shannon Eldridge of Alpine and Sean Eldridge of the Dodson Branch Community; daughter: Tammy (Irvin) Brown of Alpine; special daughter: Jamie Burnette of Livingston; grandchildren: Courtney Vaughn, Ty Eldridge, Taylor Eldridge, Paxton Eldridge, Gage (Megan) Vaughn, Wade Eldridge, Kylar Eldridge, Briley Eldridge, Tyler Burnette, and Jordan Brown; great-grandchildren: Ellie Sells, Myah Eldridge, Beau Vaughn, and Luke Vaughn; brother: Roger Ruble of Livingston; sisters: Janice Ledford and Carolyn (Jim) King.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband: Ernest Edward Eldridge; brothers: Bill, Junior, Red, Clyde, Donald, Dallas, Cecil, and Bernie Ruble; and sister: Betty Allred.
Funeral Services were conducted Sunday, March 12th from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Ledford officiating. Burial followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.
