She was born in Belleville, daughter of the late Simon and Urilda Massey. She was a member of the Cottage Grove Church of God and had resided in the Akron area for the past 12 years.
She is survived by four sons, Simon and Wilbur Moore of Canton, Ohio, Leslie Moore of Walterboro, SC, and Paul Moore of Belpre; three daughters, Vada Hendricks of Statesville, NC, Betty Perdue of Uniontown, OH, and Ruth McIndoe of Spartanburg, SC; a sister Katherine Metchum of Washington, DC; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Joseph E. Moore.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Spencer Funeral Home in Belpre, with the Rev. Cleveland Combs officiating. Burial will be in the Rockland Cemetery.
