Edward T Anderson and his extended family moved from Cumberland County, Kentucky in late 1889 in response to the heavy demand for railroad workers in Nothern Texas and Oklahoma. His mother, Mary Ann Anderson and two sisters, Patsy [Anderson] Vincent and Sarah E Carolina Anderson all moved to the Trenton location. Ed's wife, Edna Laura Bell [Neighbors] Anderson died shortly after the birth of their third son in Sept 1889. Of their three sons, one settled and spent his life around Trenton, the other two joined the oil field drilling boom in early 1900 in Oklahoma and spent the rest of their lives in it.
