Mary Ann Hauert (nee Taylor), 77, of Manhattan, IL, died peacefully in her home of natural causes, on October 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 18, 1941, of the late Robert and Ann (nee Gleason) Taylor of Joliet, IL. After graduating from St. Francis Academy in 1959, she married Warren R. Hauert, of Manhattan, IL and their union produced six children. Full of life, generosity, and compassion, she was loved by many. Always willing to laugh at herself, she passed that spirit to her friends and family. She devoted herself to raising her family. Her other joys included cooking, water activities, travelling, caring for her pets and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her beautiful soul will be forever cherished in the lives of her children, Debi Skolds, Bob Hauert, and Jim Hauert, all of Manhattan, IL Mike Hauert of Clermont, FL, Warren "Butch" Hauert of Saratoga Springs, NY; her eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and all the friends and family whose lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Hauert-Nugent, four brothers, and one sister.
