Carl J. Gonyou, 64, of 15 Lee Ter., North Syracuse, died Tuesday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton after a brief illness. He was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He had retired two years ago as an employe of the Onondaga County Parks Department after 16 years. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse, the Rev. James Mathews officiating. Spring burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Heart Association or the Diabetics Association.
