Benjamin Franklin Burch was a son of Benjamin Franklin Burch, Sr. and Eliza Ann Davidson, Oregon Pioneers. He was born in Polk County, Oregon. He married Jessie Allen in 1902 and they were living in Washington when their son, Glen, was born in 1904. By 1920, he, his wife and mother-in-law (Harriet Allen, a widow) were living in Bend, Deschutes Co., Oregon, where he was a bookkeeper at a garage; they were renting at the time. He and his wife divorced and he relocated to Rose Lodge in Lincoln Co., Oregon where he was a bookkeeper for an accounting firm. He was admitted to the Lincoln hospital in Toledo for hypertension and pulmonary edema where he remained for 10 days until his death on April 11, 1950. He was interred at Eureka Pioneer Cemetery in Newport, Lincoln County, Oregon, where he is buried in an unmarked grave (verified by phone on March 15, 2023.) May he Rest in Peace.
