Battles, died at their residence last Sunday evening and was laid to rest in the Bethlehem cemetery east of Fallis. The deceased was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist church. Rev. R. G. Gardner officiated. Mrs. Jennie Jones, Mrs. Lizzie Jones, son and daughter and Miss Bettie Taylor of Boley, all relatives, attended the funeral."
