Eileen Michelle Johnson, 31, an Anchorage waitress, died Jan. 3 at her Anchorage residence. A memorial service was held at the North Anchorage Church of God with the Rev. Tommie Shook officiating.
Ms. Johnson was born Dec. 14, 1960, in Juneau. She had recently moved to Anchorage. She is survived by her sons, Tom and Gary Austin of Juneau; her daughter, Janet Austin of Anchorage; her parents, Janet and Jim Taguchi of Juneau; her sisters, Debbie Jorgensen of Juneau, and Lisa Taguchi of Anchorage; her brothers, Sam and Larry Johnson and James Taguchi, all of Juneau, and David Johnson of Anchorage; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Burial will take place in the spring at Alaska Memorial Park in Juneau. Local arrangements were by Witzleben Family Funeral Home and Crematory, Bragaw Chapel.
