She was survived by two sons, Richard Abbott (and his fiancée; Crystal Snow) of Science Hill, Kentucky and Frank Abbott (and his fiancée; April King) of Lexington, Kentucky; three daughters, Elizabeth Abbott Young (and Robert Gibson) of White Lily, Kentucky, Etta Mae (and James) Bolin of Somerset, Kentucky, and Martha (and Richard) Mounce of Somerset, Kentucky; three sisters, Ruby Chumbley of Adair County, Kentucky, Betty Cartwright of Dayton, Ohio, and Martha Ridner of Somerset, Kentucky; one brother, Hobert Sears of White Lily, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren, Richard Keith Abbott, Jenifer Baker, Valerie Sharp, Donavan Anthony Abbott, Summer Snow, James Lee Bolen, Cecil Eugene Mounce, Ernest Eugene Young, Ashley, Robert Dale and Lydia Gibson, Steven James Abbott, Jeanie Marie Abbott Chumbley and Donald Townson; six great grandchildren, Makaila and Melania Baker, Skylar and Bradley Sharp and Autumn and Nicholas Chumbley as well as a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Stella Sears; her husband, Silas Abbott; one son, Silas Abbott, Jr. and several brothers and sisters.
Anna was a homemaker and a member of the White Lily Baptist Church. She was a kind lady who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she is greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Her family received friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3rd, 2008.
Funeral services were held in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 with Rev. Ernest Warren officiating.
Burial followed in the White Lily Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
