OBITUARY Iron River Reporter Dec 31 1985 "Obituaries: Ruth Ohl"
IRON RIVER-Ruth Ohl, 66, of 11 North Branch Lane, died Dec. 25 at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee.
The former Ruth Domer was born June 12, 1919 in Abbotsford, Wis. She moved to Eau Claire, Wis. as a child and attended public schools and nursing school there. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse in hospitals in Eau Claire and Milwaukee. She married Harold Ohl in 1964 in West Allis, Wis., where the couple resided until moving to the local area in 1969. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Iron River.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Wayne Jump of Iron River, Robert Jump of Champaign, Ill. and Gary Jump of Horicon, Wis.; two daughters, Kathleen Mack of Milwaukee and Sharon Jump of Green Bay; two brothers, Arnie Domer and Benjamin Domer, both of Eau Claire; 20 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday, Dec. 27 at the Brooks-Langenberg Funeral Home in Stambaugh.
Services were held Saturday, Dec. 28 at the First Presbyterian Church in Iron River. The Rev. Clayton Parcels, pastor, officiated.
Pallbearers were David Mack, Brad Nichols, Ric Jump, and Jon, Kurt and David Brewer. Organist Marty Wilson accompanied soloist William Harris on "Jesus Will Walk With Me" and "The Old Rugged Cross."
Burial was in Stambaugh Cemetery.
