It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willis Hendren (Louisville, Kentucky), born in Mackville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ezra Hendren and Martha "Susie" Shewmaker Hendren; his children, Margaret "Peggy" Hendren and Philip Hendren; his son-in-law Steve Hill; his former wife Bernice Rice Hendren; and his wife Doris Niswonger Hendren.
He is survived by : his daughter Dana Stone (Danny) of New Albany, IN; his grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter (Chris) of Georgetown, IN and Aaron Hill (Sabina) of Brownsburg, IN; his great grandchildren, Tobin, Paisley, Annistin and Oakley; his step-great-granddaughter Jordan; and his sister Betty Bottoms of Groveport, OH..
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 23rd 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Rd (463 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 24th 2023 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
