Mrs. J. Fitzpatrick dies at Hawkesbury
Mrs. Margaret Fitzpatrick, widow of the late John Fitzpatrick, former district superintendent of roads for the Ottawa Department of Highways, passed away at Hawkesbury on Friday, following a short illness. She was in her 75th year.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick, who was well-known in Orleans where she was born, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilbrod Besserer (Harriet Cameron). Twice married, her first husband, the late Moise Belleck, predeceased her a number of years ago. John Fitzpatrick, her second husband, died in 1940.
For a number of years she resided at Cumberland, Ont. before making Hawkesbury her home in 1942. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's church at Orleans.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 8:15 o'clock from the parlors of Horace Racine and Robert Limited, 431 Rideau Street, to St. Joseph's church, Orleans, for requiem high mass at nine o'clock. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
