There is much mystery about Isabella Beech/Beach, wife of William Allen. She lived in a time when women were not documented. Many believe Isabelle's father was Francis Marion Gabriel Beech, although she does not appear on the census with him at anytime. The one piece of evidence is the marriage bond. A Marion Beach signed the bond. I have yet to find any other papers with Gabriel using the name Marion, however, other researchers have indicated that as part of his name.
Many others believe she was the daughter of Moses Beach and Amanda Harris of Adams Co. Mississippi. I was one of those researchers because there was ALOT of documentation about their daughter. Recently it has become more apparent that there were two Isabella Beech/Beach. One with significant documentation, and one with almost none. I believe this to be due to financial status of these two families.
Much still needs to be learned and discovered.
