Eartha was educated in the York PA City School District. She graduated from Wm Penn Sr High School class of 1970.
Eartha was married once to her high school sweetheart Carl Edwin Anderson II for a season of time, and they had two children.
She also furthered her education earning a Bachelor of Science Degree at York College of Pennsylvania. Social Services was her field of study.
After graduating from college; Eartha courageously moved to Atlanta, GA with her children to give them a better life and opportunities.
Eartha excelled in her profession as a Special Education Teacher for several years, and a High School Cheer Coach. Her students loved her and she loved them. She also worked as a Case Manager with the American Cancer Society in Atlanta, and years later she worked for Cancer Care Associates of York, and Family First.
In addition to her professional contributions; Eartha was a volunteer with the York County Juvenile Department (Youth AID Panel) and she loved The Arts, and she became involved in the local theater community as a talented actress.
As an avid jogger; Eartha was health and nature conscious. Eartha's love for running genes have also been passed on to her grandsons, and she loved all spectator sports as well.
Eartha was forward thinking. This thinking awarded her to become the recipient of a United States Patent for her invention of "The Shoe Butler" shoe cleaning machine.
In addition to being a loving, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, family member and friend, Eark dedicated her life to the care of her parents. She took care of her mother Rosa Lee Brown for several years until she went to be with the Lord in 2007. She also fulfilled the promise she made to her mother to take care of her father Harry Lee Brown. Eartha provided quality care for her father until her health no longer allowed her to do so.
