Mrs. Violet Genell Inman, 77, of Cedar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, June 24, in a Birmingham hospital. She was a native of Jackson County, a member of the Cedar Bluff Garden Club and Senior Citizens Community Center and a member of Enon Grove Baptist Church.

Services were Thursday, June 26, at 11 a.m., in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. George Moses and Herbert Reid officiating. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. in Highland Memorial Garden in Birmingham with Perry Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Inman is survived by her husband, the Rev. Alfred Inman; three sons, Rayford (Donna) Hilley of Nashville, Tenn., Wayne (Jeanine) Hilley of McCalla and Ron Hilley of New York; a daughter, Nelda (Phil) Davis of Cedar Bluff; two brothers, Earnest Hutcheson of Bessemer and H.E. Hutcheson of Hueytown; a sister, Lois Sedman of Ootawah, Tenn.; six step-children, Roy (opal) Inman of Sand Rock, Lilly (Levearl) Chase of McDonald, Ga., Glenda (Orval) Holcomb of Hokes Bluff, Virgil (Dixie) Inman of Marietta, Ga., Brenda (Tom) Steele of Cedar Bluff and Mitchell (Glenda) Inman of Collinsville, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, 20 step-grandchildren, 21 step-great grandchildren, one special niece, Shelvie Frost and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Cyrus L. and Hulit Maynor Hucheson.
