Mr. Fadeley was a retired financial consultant of Merrill Lynch and later Legg Mason. After his formal retirement, he was employed by Black Dog Construction Company in Farnham. As a veteran of the U. S. Army, he served with the military police in both Saigon City, Vietnam and Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, D. C. Mr. Fadeley was an active member of the Richmond County Fair Association for the last ten years.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Linda Fadeley; daughters, Stacey Rogers of Reston and Heather Rogers Harris of Fairfax; sons, James M. Fadeley, III of Rockville, MD and Morgan Rice Fadeley of Prince Frederick, MD; grandchildren, Jackson James Rogers, Dillon and Sean Harris; sister, Fabienne Christenson of Cincinnati, OH.
