Mrs. Adams was a member of West Gantt First Baptist Church.
Jean was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Adams was Senior Vice President for First Union National Bank before retiring.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jamie Adams (Sandra); her daughter, Marsha Landreth; four grandsons, Darren Landreth, Eric Adams, Patton Landreth and Evan Landreth; sister, Pawnee Watson (Earle); sister-in-law, Fay Moore; eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Rae Simpson and brother, Harold Moore.
