In addition to his mother, Patricia, Alan is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Sharon S. (Robinson) Skelly, and their three sons, Craig Skelly of Mechanicsburg, Chad Skelly of Camp Hill, and Tristen Skelly of New Cumberland. He is also survived by his stepmother Louise Skelly, stepbrother, Kurt, stepsister, Erica, and was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Skelly.
Throughout his career, he showcased his intelligence and analytical skills in various roles, including as a licensed barber at Neibert's Barber Shop in Mechanicsburg, and later as a project manager with R.C. Skelly Construction.
In 1996, Alan's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Olde Mill Impressions with his friend Matthew Haak, a successful business that they built from the ground up. His passion and dedication to his work were evident to all who knew him, and his company became an integral part of the Mechanicsburg community and across the nation.
Alan was an active member of the Mechanicsburg Club, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and engaging in lively discussions. He had a wide range of interests, including fishing, collecting watches, and cars. Alan had a particular fondness for Porsche and Bulova watches, often admiring their mechanical, technical, and functional aspects. His love for cars extended to attending car auctions and sharing his enthusiasm with fellow enthusiasts.
As an avid sports fan, Alan was incredibly supportive of his three sons' athletic pursuits. He could often be found cheering them on from the sidelines, offering encouragement, and sharing in their victories and defeats. His passion for sports extended beyond his family, as he was always eager to discuss the latest games and scores with friends and fellow fans.
In addition to his numerous accomplishments, Alan will be remembered for the love and devotion he showed to his family. He was a caring and supportive husband to his wife, Sharon, and a proud father to his three sons. His love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, from the time he spent with them to the encouragement and support he offered in all their endeavors.

A public visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 28th at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 29th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 400 East Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg. A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
