Isaac Kirkbride, 71, of Jerusalem Route 1, died Friday afternoon, September 8, 1978, at Barnesville Hospital following a short illness.
He was born February 10, 1907, in Belmont County, the son of the late Ezra and Cora Pittman Kirkbride.
Mr. Kirkbride was a member of the Bush Church of Christ near Malaga.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Truex Kirkbride; ; two sons, Marvin Kirkbride of Woodsfield, and Ronald Kirkbride, of Jerusalem; one daughter, Mrs. Sonny (Patricia) Palmer, of Woodsfield; two brothers, Vernon Kirkbride and Ernest Kirkbride, of Quaker City, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Bush Church of Christ with Minister James Gallagher officiating. Burial was in the Jerusalem Cemetery with the Harper Funeral Home of Beallsville in charge.
