Funeral services for E.G.Bryan, 83, who died at 1 p.m. Saturday, were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls. Officiating were James Eubank, minister, and Rev. E. R. McGregor.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery with the Carter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He and Mrs. Bryan had observed their 60th Wedding anniversary in September of last year. He was a native of Grayson County. In 1908 he married Nellie Kate James.
He moved to the Ralls area in 1920 from Lamar County, and was a retired farmer.
Survivors are his wife and three sons, Boyce and Audy of Ralls, Sam of Happy; four daughters, Mrs. Perry Anthony of Plains, Mrs. Phillip Robertson of Batesville, Mrs. Rubye Smith of Crosbyton, and Mrs. Farry Bea Strickland of Ralls.
