LOCKNEY - Jewell Benson Roberts Thompson, 98, died Sunday, March 2, 2008.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Adams officiating. Burial will be in Lockney Cemetery by Moore-Rose Funeral Home.
Mrs. Thompson was born Aug. 5, 1909, to Thomas Benson and Addie Bell Allen Benson. She loved to do needlework and read.
Survivors include three daughters, Judy Merrill of Sherman, Jeny Carter of Arlington and Jill Rogers of Amarillo; a sister, Naomi Rogers of El Paso; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
