Larry W. Humphreys, 77, of Marion, Iowa passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Winslow House Care Center in Marion.
Mr. Humphreys was born on February 21st, 1946 to Alva D. and Leatha (Griggs) Humphreys in Unionville, Missouri.
He graduated from Eddyville High School with the Class of 1964. Mr. Humphreys worked for Kaiser as a heavy equipment operator. He retired from Iowa DOT Highway Commission.
Mr. Humphreys is survived by his children: Wendy and Bryan Sylvester; Matthew Humphreys; and Marcine and Eric Bean. Six grandchildren and six nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter -in-law Trinidad "Trina" Wanson-Humphreys, siblings: Arthur Humphreys Sr.; Mary Ellen Johnson; LaVonne Vance; and Garold E. Humphreys and eight nieces and nephews.
Per Mr. Humphreys' request his body has been cremated with burial in Shoney Cemetery, Putnam County, Missouri.
