Reading Eagle: 10 Jan 1898: Mrs. Nathan Kline nee Beecher died at the residence of her son in law Charles Babb, west of Fleetwood town Sunday morning at 6 o'clock of an apoplectic stroke aged 70 years. Her husband preceded her many years. Deceased has the following children, Thomas of Blandon, Mrs. Hannah Huls of Reading, Mrs. Ruth of Reading, Mrs. Emma Babb and Rachel at home. Funeral Thursday morning, January 13 at 11 o'clock. Service at house and in St. Paul's Church. Interment on the cemetery adjoining the church. Rev. F. K. Huntzinger of Reading will officiate. [Note: Thomas, Hannah, and Mrs. Ruth (Ellen) were her children from her first marriage to Patrick Feeney who died in 1865.]

Oddly Mary is caring not only for her Feeney children but also Emma Kline age 1, suggesting Nathan and Mary had a child before they were married?
