A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 10, at Guilford Memorial Park, by Rev. Sarah Smith.
Mrs. Brady was born February 14, 1919, in Kannapolis, the daughter of Luther Jacob and Kate Scott Mesimore.
She was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church, where she was a Charter member of the Charm Lambert Sunday School Class and a member of Circle #6. She was also on the Administrative Board, was Secretary of Financial Interpretation, was on the Mission Committee and the Finance Committee, was in the Friendship Club, and was treasurer. As a member of the United Methodist Women, she received the Life Membership Pin; this award symbolizes devotion and service beyond the call of duty and recognizes the individual as an outstanding servant of Christ and His Church. She also was a member of the Christian Business and Professional Women's Council "After Five Club", the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and the Sears Retiree Club. She was Glenwood Lady Lions Club past-president and Lioness of the Year.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse William Brady and son, Jerry William Brady.
Surviving are her son, Wayne Keith Brady and daughter in law, Judy McKay Brady of Savannah, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Ellen Brady of Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren and two great-grand children.
