Mary Lee hooks, 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Britthaven of Guilford.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 10, at Woodard Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hooks was born in Lexington County, South Carolina. She retired from Wesley Long Hospital with 31 years of service.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Joe Hooks, of the home; two daughters, Donna R. Shaw and Peggie J. Ford; two sons, William D. Morris and Larry D. Morris; two sisters, Mae Bell Morris and Linda Young, all of Greensboro; four aunts, seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
