Joseph T Bethoney 85 of Franklin Ma, passed away peacefully on 31 March 2022 at Milford Hospital.

Joe was born in Boston, Ma to Thomas J Bethoney and Najeebie (Abdo) Bethoney on May 10, 1936.

Joe is survived by his wife Rae L (Brown) Bethoney, son Joseph T Bethoney Jr and his wife Susan and also by his youngest son Douglas P Bethoney. He is also survived by 2 grandsons Ryan and Drew Bethoney. He leaves behind 2 sisters Mary Letorney and Joyce Bethoney and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was also the brother to the late Thomas, Robert, and Jerry Bethoney and Nancy Wood.

Joe did his undergraduate schooling at Boston Latin School and graduate studies at Boston College and enjoyed a long and successful career in sales.

In 1963 he married the love of his life Rae L (Brown) Bethoney who shared 58 wonderful years together. Many family summers and lasting memories were made at Disney World and Cape Cod.

He loved spending precious time with his sons as they grew up including much time on the golf course as well as cheering from the sidelines at sporting events.

Joe was an extremely generous and kind man who touched and affected many lives. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 9:00 - 10:30am Tuesday April 5 at the Charles F Oteri and Son Franklin funeral home 33 Cottage Street followed by a funeral mass at St Mary's Church 1 Church Square Franklin at 11:00am. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org

Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
