Gay Lee Wall, 61, of Naples, Idaho was called home by the angels Monday, August 20, 2012 in the Kootenai Medical Center, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Services were held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 1:00pm in the First Baptist Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Gay was born to the late Joe Lee Ward and Eleanor King on August 9, 1951 in Santa Cruz, CA. She lived, married and raised 4 daughters in Santa Cruz County before retiring from Lockheed Missiles and Space. She then married her husband Tim in 1992 and moved to Idaho with her youngest daughter Danielle.
Gay enjoyed gardening and was a Master Gardener; she also enjoyed reading and was a volunteer and member of the Bonners Ferry Family History library.
She was a joy to all those who knew her and even though she had battled with cancer since 2008 she always looked at the positive sides to life. She was a devoted wife and mother and cherished her grandchildren whom she is now a guardian angel to.
Gay is survived by her loving husband Tim, her four daughters: Rachael, Meghan, Kimberly and Danielle, two brothers: Joe and Derrick, two sisters Denise and Cynthia; three stepsons Joe, Steve and Keenan. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be sent in Gay's name to the St. Jude's Hospital for cancer research.
