MARK R. BURICH
(1961 - 2016)

Mark R. Burich, age 54, a Manitowoc resident, died March 2, 2016 at his residence.

Mark was born on December 10, 1961 in Manitowoc, son of Shirley (Sebo) Burich and the late Leonard Burich. He graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1980. Mark was a very talented and accomplished musician. His drumming ability allowed him to travel to Germany at the age of 12. He also recorded numerous albums, music videos and was a member of the group that won "Battle of the Bands". He also played for numerous productions at the Capitol Civic Center. Mark enjoyed many outdoor risk-taking activities and was happiest when he was behind his drum set.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Burich, Valders; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and John Mrotek, Manitowoc; two brothers, Randy Burich, Valders and Keith Burich, Belgium. Nieces and Nephews: Jenny (Vicki Goldman) Mrotek, Dan (Steve Simpson) Mrotek, Mike (Lily) Mrotek, Brook Burich and Joe Burich; great nieces and nephews: Alexa, Lilly, Marcel, Halyee, Cooper and Mauricio. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, other relatives and many special friends along with his faithful and loving companion, his pet dog, Bruiser. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, his grandparents and other relatives.

Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen. Burial of the cremated remains will take place at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00 noon until 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.

The Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Mark lived his life by the phrase, "If music be the food of love, play on". He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Play on forever, Mark.
