Dorothy A. Haza, 68, of Scranton, died Tuesday at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert A. Haza.

Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dolores Nilsson Zimowski. A devout Catholic, Dorothy was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish. Prior to retirement in 2013, she worked as a mail clerk at Penn Foster.

A loving grandmother, Dorothy's grandchildren were the light of her life, cherishing and treasuring each moment with them. She was ever-present in their lives never missing a recital or school event. Dorothy looked forward to her Saturday lunch and shopping outings with her daughter.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters Andrea (Kate) Woehrle and husband Jeff, Mount Pocono and Kerri O'Boyle and husband Matthew, Scranton; grandchildren Emma and Liam O'Boyle, Scranton; sister-in-law Patty Zimowski, Union Dale; cousin Kathy O'Keefe, who was as close as a sister to her, East Northport, NY ; as well as several cousins and loved ones.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers Frank Jr and Steven Zimowski.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. John Vianney Church, 704 Montdale Rd, Scott Township.

Interment to be held at a later date in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
