Linda Sue Johnson of Doddridge, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2023. She was born to S.C. "Bill" and Letha Nichols Smith of Doddridge, Arkansas in 1947. She graduated from Bright Star High School in 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Don Johnson of Joaquin, Texas.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dara Cornett and her grandchild Jackson Cornett all of Doddridge. She is also survived by her nieces Charlotte Hardamon Coble of Doddridge, Judith Ann Hardamon Ellis of San Marcos, Texas, her brother-in-law Bill Ming and her step-children Donna Allen, Janay Anderson, Buddy Johnson and their spouses and children.
Mrs. Johnson's family will celebrate her life with family and friends on Saturday, April 8th from 4-6 pm at her home located at 10 MC 161, Doddridge, Arkansas. Private burial will be on Saturday, April 15th Lawrence Cemetery in Hubbard, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity in memory of Linda Sue.
