Mrs. Hendrick was born in Siloam Springs, Missouri, on October 20, 1880. Her family moved to Johnson County, Texas, when she was a year old. She and John Yateman Hendrick were married January 8, 1896 at Patillo, Texas. They had five sons and two daughters. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Her husband passed away December 22, 1937. At that time, she moved from her farm, into Santo. The last three and a half years she had been in the Resort Lodge Nursing Home.
Mrs. Hendrick is survived by these sons: Guy of Baird, Hoyt and Pete of Santo, Olen of Plains, and Luther of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. mary McCleskey of Bluff Dale, and Mrs. Gertie Adams of Santo.
Pall bearers were grandsons: James of Killeen, John of Irving, Kenneth of Santo, Ronnie of Plains, Douglas of Amarillo, and great-grandson, David of Killeen.
