She was elected homecoming queen by her senior class. Throughout her life, in spite of her petite stature, Jeanne loved athletics. She was a tennis player, rock climber, canoeist, bicyclist, runner, and hiker. But the role she most loved was being a mother to her children. All who loved her will miss her beautiful smile. No flowers or sympathy cards. Donations in her name can be made to: the American Parkinson Disease Association, the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Following cremation through Reed Funeral Home, a private commemoration of her life will be held at a later date.
