PRUITT CLYBURN, 85, of Duncan, died Monday, March 10, 2008, in his home.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will be in Duncan Cemetery.
Pruitt was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Comanche, to Lock and Della Russell Clyburn. He married LaWanda F. Gregston on July 3, 1945, in Duncan.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Pruitt worked as a truck driver. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church West.
He is survived by his wife, LaWanda Clyburn, and a son and daughter-in-law, Bill R. and Nelda Clyburn, all of Duncan; three grand-children, Billy Ray Clyburn Jr. of Duncan, Chris Clyburn and wife Ann of Ocean Grove, N.J., and Brandy Graves and husband Michael of Marlow; and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Graves and Mariah Graves of Marlow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Elsie May Adams and Lois Crouch.
