Edward Delaney
Edward "Pat" Delaney, 83, of 124 W. Conklin Ave., Nedrow, died Friday at Community-General Hospital after a long illness. His wife, Margaret Soeder Delaney, died in October, 1984. Mr. Delaney retired 13 years ago from General Baking Company and Merchants Bank. He is a life member of the Pastime Athletic Club where he was an avid bowler. He bowled a 300 game in 1972. Mr. Delaney was also a member of the G.S.I.O.C. and the Pitch Club. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Mattucci of Liverpool, Jean Keehfus of Schenectady and Kathleen Callagee of Rochester; two sisters, Marie Knox of Syracuse and Ethel Davidson of Albany; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two nieces and a nephew. Services will be Monday at St. John the Baptist Church at a time to be announced. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Keegan-Osbelt-Knight Funeral Home, 900 N. Salina St. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Leukemia Society of America.
