Edward Henry Stephenson was born in Newberry, Michigan on November 15, 1923. He was the son of William and Mabel (Collins) Stephenson. He was a vetern of World War 11, he served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge on December 18, 1945. He held various employment during his lifetime but most notably at the Atlas Plywood and City Services Oil Company until his retirement. He also was a farmer who enjoyed raising animals and having a garden. He was a member of the Newberry United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #74, VFW Post #4418 and the DAV Deer Park Chapter 95.
Edward married Mary Ann Berry on June 19, 1946 at the home of her parents. Together they had three children Donna, Barbara and Peggy and also had several Grandchildren and Great- Grandchildren whom they loved very much. He had a nickname of "Baldie Grampa". Edward will be sadly missed by his loving family.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann,on April 17,1973, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his three daughters Donna (Roger) Perry, Barbara (Doug) Chilson and Peggy (Jesse) Chambers several Grandchildren and GreatGrandchildren siblings and family.
Edward is sadly missed by his loving family and friends. We miss you very much " Baldie".
