Final Rites Held for Nellie Kennedy 83
Mrs. Nellie Kennedy, 83, died Monday in the Rapson Convalescent Home in Pigeon after a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 6, 1877, at Warren, Penn., she moved to Tuscola County as a child with her parents, Lelander and Helen Morse.
She married the late Thomas Kennedy Nov. 19, 1901, in Gagetown. She was a member of the St. Agatha church in Gagetown.
Surviving are: a son, John, of rural Gagetown; three daughters, Mrs. Leona Hartman, Mrs. Cecelia Hartman and Mrs. Madge McCormick, all of Detroit; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were by Hunter Funeral Home.
Rev. Frank McLaughlin, pastor of St. Agatha Church, officiated at the final rites Wednesday and burial was in St. Agatha cemetery.
