ANDERSON CHARLES WILLIAM A San Lorenzo resident of 48 years passed away April 8, 2002 leaving behind a large and caring family. Beloved husband of 59 years to Fern Anderson and loving father to three sons, Charles and wife Vernice Anderson of Livermore, Robert Anderson of Livermore and Tim and wife Anna Anderson of Union City. His five grandchildren, Kevin and wife Linda Anderson, Byron Anderson, Kaela Anderson and Keanu Anderson will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by his great-grandchildren, Branson, Alyssa, Corey and baby due in July, along with eleven brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Born December 20, 1919 in Bemidji, Minnesota. Age 82 years. Retired 1981 after driving 30 years for Pacific Motor Trucking. A Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army where he acquired his G.E.D. after leaving school in the 11th grade to serve his country. He was a faithful member of the Moose Club for many years. A Private Inurnment will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park 32929 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA 94544.
