Barbara J. Jenco (Hughes), born September 24, 1932, passed away March 20, 2023. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late David and Lillian (Grill) Hughes. Her family relocated to Barberton and she graduated from Barberton High School, where she met Bernard Jenco. They married on July 20, 1954 and raised their family in the Green area.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard "Beanie"; brothers, David and Larry Hughes; and sister-in-law, Alice Hughes.
Barb will be dearly missed by her longtime companion, Dale Hoobler; her children, Larry Jenco, Diane (David) Watson, Robyn Blair, and Jill (Richard) Wooley; grandchildren, John (Connie) Watson, Ken (Lauren) Watson, Heidi (Dave) Yanok, Kristin (Jerod) Kaser, Kelley (Jeff) Lott, Kevin (Cait) Jenco, Colton (Kimberley) Blair, Chandler (Eric) Blair-Zinger, Landry (William) Bohnak, Lilly Wooley, and Meredith Wooley; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Fran Lessiter; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She also leaves her devoted caretakers, Gina Gulley and Becky Clark.
Per Barb's wishes, there will be no formal services. She will be laid to rest privately at East Liberty Cemetery. A celebration of Barb's life will be announced at a later date.
