Mary Jane Farrell is the daughter of Irish Immigrants, Michael Farrell and Anastasia O'Brien.
Born in New York, lived in Massachusetts, then in Adam County, IA until her marriage to George H Davison in May 1889 in Union County Iowa. George was born in England coming to America in 1880.
They lived in Union County in 1893 when a 2nd daughter was born and George was employed as a railroad conductor.
By 1920 they were in their 60s and living in Nebraska, George is a store keeper of dairy products.
Another move to Santa Monica, CA by 1930 as they are in their 70s.
They were living on California Ave in Santa Monica in 1942 when George passed away at 78.
Mary lived another 4 years as a widow and passes at age 81. Her obit mentions she was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, and I believe George is also buried there.
Holy Cross [Catholic]Cemetery is in Culver City, not far from their last address in Santa Monica; it is a very large cemetery but I have no plot info for either of them. There are other Farrells and Davisons listed on this virtual cemetery, none that I can connect to this Farrell/Davison family to date.
I am researching my Farrell relation and hoping to identify their burial places. They are from my paternal Dunbar line who were Scots; Farrells being from Ireland. [Sue Raper Barnett April 2023]
