Arne passed away in Flagstaff on May, 29, 2010. He was born in Chicago, IL on Sept. 1, 1937. He moved from Long Island. NY to Arizona in 1970. He was employed with the BNSF Railroad as a brakeman, conductor and later as a new hire coordinator. He loved working with the new hires, helping them along the way. He retired in Nov. 2001. Arne attended Phoenix College for a few semesters. He won the silver medal for his age group in the 12K race in Winslow. Arne served as a Deacon at First Baptist church in Winslow, he loved to play golf with his friends and great grandsons, Bryce and Bryan, and travelling with his wife. He loved the company of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren
